How we work

Methodology

BrokerVersus has no scores today. This page states how data is collected, what is verified before display, and the rules scores will follow when they arrive.

Three rules we will not bend

  1. 1. Facts carry sources; judgements carry methods.

A fee we publish cites the broker’s own schedule and the date we checked it. A score cites the published formula that produced it.

  2. 2. Nothing pending looks like data.

Unchecked fields render as “Not yet assessed” or “Not verified” — never zero, never a placeholder number, never borrowed text.

  3. 3. The same fields for every broker.

Coverage is collected through one template applied identically to all brokers, so comparisons compare like with like.

When scores arrive

Scores will publish together with a full description of the formula, the weights, and a worked example you can recompute by hand. Until that page exists, every rating slot on this site stays at “Not yet rated”.
